Reflection On Field Trip

Reflection On Field Trip To Cyber Crime Police Station

Today the Beat The Bully went to the field to a Cyber Crime Police Station, which was in Basheerbagh, opposite to the Legislative Assembly. First we all were very scared to talk to the Police Men because it was the first time that we all were meeting some Police Men and talking to them. When we entered the police station, there was an uncle who explained us briefly that what is a police station, what is made of and what do we do there. He said police does 2 types of things, first is Prevention and second is Detection. The people who wear civil dress in police do Detection and the people who are in their uniform do Prevention. Then we all went to the commissioner who was Dr. Anuradha. She was a nice person and also was polite to us. We wanted to ask some questions and know more about cyber bullying so Dr. Anuradha said us to go to Inspector Majid Ali Khan. He was also a same type of person. Very nice and polite. He answered all our questions. He also said us how to catch the person who makes fake IDs and think that they can do anything online without getting caught. First, Police will send the Gmail id or any id to the main office of that account. Example: - Gmail to Google and Facebook to Facebook. And with 2 weeks the reply will come with the I.P Address and then they put the I.P Address to any online website of tracking I.P Address like I.P lookup. From doing that they get to know the Service Provider example: - Tata Docomo, Bsnl or more. At last they will send the issue to the signal which the culprit is using after some time they will get to know the address and then they will catch the culprit. At last we asked him some questions and we also asked that What was your biggest case against cyber bullying so he told us the answer also.

There are three Cyber Crime Police Stations in the city. 1) Basserbagh, 2) Masabtank, 3) Cyberabad.

He also shared the official email address which was - tspolice_hyd@tspolice.gov.in

He also told us about Javelin courts. There are 5 Javelin courts in Hyderabad. The Cyber Crime Police Station gets over 20 - 25 complaints in a month in their branch only (Basserbagh). This field trip was very informative and we all enjoyed very much.
